Subhaan Allah, your pos...Assalaamu Alaykum sister. Subhaan Allah, your post brought back memories - I don't even think about getting on buses (or trains) - I remember the stresses and strains so now avoid it completely!!!! Just reading your post had me feeling pram rage too! Pram rage, road rage - I'm sorry to admit I get both though I'm consciously trying to be more patient on the road now.

I hope all is well at your end. Good luck with the job applications.girlwhowalksintherainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11977842335638833985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5398611943115596793.post-28050382534868632502009-11-11T13:44:48.422+00:002009-11-11T13:44:48.422+00:00salaam sister,
Indeed,how brave of you. I believe...salaam sister,

Indeed, how brave of you. I believe London is one of the less child friendly city in the world! Prams are a big no-no unless you are very good at ignoring evil looks, nasty comments and have muscles of steel (to carry the buggy up and down).
I got so fed up with trying to do the 1hr journey from my house to the childminder with my daughter's buggy that I ended up buying a hiking backpack (or whatever they are called).
They're fantastic and getting into buses or the tube is never a problem. Also, people are quite careful as the backpack has a very sturdy metal frame. (I have been known to "accidentally" push peole - or shall I say "hit" - with the frame whenever they were pushing too much for my comfort).
If you're not too keen on the hiking thing, try a baby sling (check the slingjax website). That's all I use now. They're fantastic.
Anyway, best of luck with all your job applications.Mazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10602961850530194977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5398611943115596793.post-24301422807812318532009-11-11T10:41:01.095+00:002009-11-11T10:41:01.095+00:00well mashaAllah 10/10 for your braveness to attemp...well mashaAllah 10/10 for your braveness to attempt it !
