apologies for the la...Assalam-alaikam Sister Farah,
apologies for the late reply.
The henna I used is one my mum-in-law brought from Pakistan. It's one that my sister-in-law swears by that is made by someone local to her. It didn't have any label or name on it. I and my older daughter (who has quite sensitive skin) tried it first and then gave it to my friend to try on my daughter.

When we were kids we used to use a brand called Zubeida henna which came in a powder rather than mixed in a cone form. The colour was strong and we never had a reaction to it. Not sure if the ingredients are the same now.

I'm not sure where you are based and what is available to you. If you want to make your own which would be completely safe for your little one, there is a recipe here which I picked up from a short course I did: http://www.happymuslimah.com/2012/10/starting-henna-course-first-two-lessons.htmlHappy Muslim Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16144849663355612169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5398611943115596793.post-46807219711814710262014-07-27T16:53:00.120+01:002014-07-27T16:53:00.120+01:00Salaam Sister,
