Aslamu alakum sister Fizzy cola bottles make me happy too and just recently they sell them here in Algeria too imported from turkey so halal with it alhamduillah. I like the 'bhranda' the hair extention piece, with the fancy trimmings subhanAllah, i wore them alot as a child and young teen, loved them, i had one with trinklets on, that when you walked they made noise, what a part of Asain cultre esp the 'pind' village life. My mum still wears one daily a plain black one! Just wondering are they allowed in Islam in respect of the ruling of extensions and hair pieces? As i don't think they would be but Allah knows best! Thanks for this post sister!
Assalam-alaikam, Sister Rinbow, We get the halal ones too, but they I'm not sure they taste as good as the ones I used toeat when I was little. I like the paranda too, but haven't worn it for ages for exactly the same reason, I'm not sure if it's allowed. Was going to ask my huband to ask at the mosque.
Sister HA, I love fish an chips too and working in the east end of London there are acouple of lovely traditional chippies not far away - although home made fat chips are gorgeous too.
